Pack 994 Blue & Gold Banquet

Theme: HOORAY FOR THE RED, WHITE, BLUE & YOU

It is time once again for the annual Blue and Gold Banquet.  This is a time to celebrate the accomplishments of our sons and the traditions of Cub Scouting in Pack 994.

The banquet will be held in the Hillside Celebration Hall on Saturday, February 28.  It will start at 4:30 PM sharp and end around 7:00 PM.  Doors will open at 4:00PM to setup.

All family members are invited.  The cost is $4 per person with a $16 limit per family.  Please give your money and the number of family members attending to your Den Leader.  A list of attendees by den is due by Thursday, February 5, so food and room planning can be finalized.

Our entertainment is Evan the Magician.  Evan Reynolds is a professional magician from Cherokee County and his show will not only be fun but amazing.  It’s an interactive and entertaining humorous magic show that ends by levitating a scout.  So, be in your seat and ready at 4:30 PM for show time.

To make the night even more interesting there will be a table decorating contest held between dens.  Decorations should follow the theme “Hoooray for the Red, White, Blue and You” and much effort into making the decorations done by the scouts.  The tables will be judged that night and the winner will be announced at the end of the banquet.  All tables must be decorated by 4:20 PM.   The tables will be assigned to dens, so come early to start decorating.  (No Balloons: Hillside does not allow balloons in Celebration Hall)

A Friends of Scouting representative will be raising awareness to help secure operating funds needed to provide the many services offered to support unit programs, such as training, insurance, program materials, advancement materials, camping facilities and programs, council and district activities, and much more.

Ceremony presentation of awards will be given to all scouts that have completed requirements for their rank.   Arrow of Light recognition will be presented to those earning the highest award bestowed to a Cub Scout.

We would also appreciate everyone pitching in to help clean up at the end of the banquet!  It is going to be a fantastic evening!  Hope to see you there!
