Fall Campout
Traditionally, in October Pack 994 heads to Victoria Landing Camp Ground at Lake Allatoona. It is a mere 10 minutes from Hillside Church up Bells Ferry Road which makes for a convenient location for busy families with other events on their schedule and for those new to scouting and camping. The campground is a beautiful spot on Lake Allatoona adjacent to Victoria Day Use Area Boat Landing and Beach. Within the campground there is lots of space to ride bikes, a playground and a small beach. Bring bikes and fishing poles; usually it is a bit chilly to swim, but there have been warm days when the kids do want to jump in! Pack 994 campouts are always a family affair! Everyone is welcome. Set-up and check-in is Friday afternoon and pack-up is done by about 12:00 on Sunday. Saturday night we have a Pack campfire filled with fun, laughs, crazy scout skits and of course JOKES! Sunday morning we start with an early prayer service lead by our Pack Chaplain followed by a Pack breakfast. The remainder of the weekend can be spent with your family, your den, or participating in pack activities that may be planned.
The Webelos are usually responsible for coordinating the campout, setting up Pack activities, preparing the Saturday campfire and Sunday breakfast.
Basic Victoria Campground Rules

Spring Campout
Similar in format to the fall Pack campout, the spring event, usually in April, is held at a nearby campsite, usually by Lake Allatoona. This is a great way to begin winding down the scouting year.
